Affiliate marketing sounds pretty scary but if you look beyond all the hype that sells products you will soon realize that it is not rocket science and that any one can do it. Marketing products is also a great way to make money as it a job where your income is made not by the hour but by the amount of work you do.

Are you sick of working hard all day and not getting what you are worth? Bosses use workers as leverage so that they not only make money on their own efforts but also on the efforts of those they employ. No wonder you sometimes feel that job you do is a thankless one and your boss seems to want more and more out of you for the same money.

If you are only looking to supplement your income as you are one of the few that actually like their jobs then affiliate marketing is a great place to start making money online at home. Just think of what you can do with a few extra dollars a week. Maybe it is only that you will finally be able to get all your bills paid on time, maybe you can use it to take the kids to Disneyland or even have a few romantic weekends away.

Stop dreaming you need to get started to day to make a difference in your life. If you have a computer and a reliable internet connection then you are already half way there.

Some people will tell you that it is all hype and those that say they make money online selling other people’s products are having you on etc. But they are in wrong in that marketing products online can be a very lucrative low cost way of making money from home.

Stop right now because I know your brain is already telling you that it is all too hard to understand. The gurus know this and play on this with their sales pitch to sell you more and more products. Do you think for one moment that they would tell that it is really easy and you do not need their fancy overpriced products?

The fact is that thousands of companies have heaps of quality products to sell and they know the value of having an army of affiliates do the marketing for them. Some even supply all the marketing tools needed for free. Sure they have to pay their affiliates up to 75% of the sale price but doing it this way they can sell many times the number of products they would be able to do themselves.

So now you have it. You can now forget about putting on that suit that is designed to look good but not for comfort and not to mention that frustrating daily drive to work. So turn on your computer and let’s get started.

The easiest method to use to get started working online from home is the bum marketing method. It was originally coined by a successful marketer named Travis Sago who said that is was so simple even a bum off the street could walk up to a computer and start selling products online with no money.

Most people get to this point and they fail to take action. Why? Maybe they are too scared, skeptical or it is just outside their comfort zone. That is why it is important to find someone who has been through it themselves, knows the ropes and pitfalls and they are willing to help new marketers get started.

So if you want to be able to market other people’s products online and make lots of money you need to start using the bum marketing method today. Take action now. For more information http://makemoneyonline.keries.com/

Private label rights articles are great for ideas to use when marketing your online business. However most of these articles come with restrictions, are not well written and need to be rewritten. If you publish PLR articles without changes then you miss out on the opportunity to use them to develop your own style of writing which will help you gain authority in your chosen online business niche.

First let’s look at some of the restrictions that can be found in the PLR terms that should come in your PLR article package. If no terms come with the package you need to find out what they are because no terms does not always mean there are no restrictions on the use of those articles.

No Restrictions – PLR Articles

If you get a no restrictions PLR licence in your article pack this means in most cases that you can use the articles any way you wish. For example you can use them as blog posts, post them to article directories that do not have restrictions on the posting of PLR articles, or you can make an ebook out of them. You can claim them as your own without disclosing your are not the original author.

However before you use this type of article you should consider running it through a good grammar and spelling checker as well as a plagiarism checker. It is virtually useless in terms of SEO in publishing articles that have thousands of duplicates as you have very little chance of people finding them.

Posting PLR Content to Article Directories

Some article package have a restriction that do not allow you to post the PLR articles to article directories and claim them as your own. Do not forget that you should always read the article directories terms and conditions as they themselves may not allow you to post anything other than your own original content.

PLR Articles as Website Content

Using them as website content might sound like a great idea to populate your website with content but you need to make sure your PLR rights allow you to do this. If you use them you may have to acknowledge the seller or original owner if the restriction stipulates this to comply with the PLR rights.

Some PLR rights also prohibit you from breaking the articles up into blog posts to populate your blog. Read the terms and conditions before you decide to break them up into blog posts.

Other Restrictions on PLR articles

There are numerous other restrictions that can be placed on PLR article packages. Always read the PLR rights before you purchase them to find out if there are any other restrictions on their use and that you fully understand them. If you buy packages with too many restrictions you may not be able to get the benefits you want from them. If you purchase PLR articles and you need to rewrite them to use them then you may have done better by doing your own research for free information on your topic.

PLR articles may be easy and quick to use to populate your website or blog with content or to write a quick ebook to give away to build your list but before you buy them read the PLR rights to make sure you can use them for your purpose. For more information http://www.superteammarketing.com

Just before the start of this challenge I had the privilege of being updated to platinum author status by EzineArticles. Before this writing articles was real challenge to me as I never really got it as far as writing goes. So with my new platinum status I thought why not give the challenge a go.

Here we are nearing the halfway point of the current challenge and I actually have my nose a wee bit in front much to my surprize. At times it has been struggle to catch up when I have got a few articles behind due to family and other commitments but I somehow have found the time and drive to catch up.

Thinking back so far I think the best thing that I have gained from it so far has been the belief that I can actually do it. I still have to pinch myself sometimes to believe that I can actually write articles that people want to read and republish as I never before thought of myself as any sort of writer.

Another thing that I did not think about before I started the challenge was that I now have content for my own websites and blogs whereas before I was for ever searching for good content to publish on them. I would read up to sometimes a dozen articles before I found one that I thought suited my blog and I was prepared to post it. Now topics just seem to come to mind and by doing a little research for ideas I can now write an article myself in about the time it used to take to find content to republish. Competition for the hearts, minds and cold, hard cash of the buying public has never been fiercer than today; thousands of small businesses all desperately trying to get the attention of the same limited customer base does not bode well for easy business. It has never been more important to make your business that little bit different, to stand out from the crowd and get yourself noticed. Your business has an important message to impart, it is “look at us, we are better than our main competitors!” and so it is vital to use every tool available to you to get that message across.

For most small businesses the problem is amplified by having less of everything to play with than the bigger boys and yet the need to distinguish yourself from the rest is often even more pressing.

A website is a must of course and we are fortunate to live in an age when the internet can in many ways provide cheap and sometimes free methods of marketing that can, while keeping budgets small, give your business some very slick and potent means of promotion.

Once you have your website up and running, it is important not only to have people visit in their droves, but that those who do are the right people and that they stick around once they arrive. You also want these sought after visitors to return and bring their friends. It is one thing to have a successful, well placed website and quite another to have a site that might as well be made of rubber with visitors bouncing out almost before they’ve read your company name.

So how to attract the right sorts and keep them hanging around long enough to allow the search engines to register how well your site is working, not to mention getting them to stay long enough to learn about your wonderful product and place huge orders.

The simple truth is that the most exciting site in the world will become dull to visitors pretty quickly if it doesn’t ever change. The best way to be exciting and inviting is to keep up-dating your content, when your site provides something for people to come back for they usually will. Read the rest of this entry

Link building is essential in today’s internet marketplace. Without good quality one way links to your website search engines will hardly even notice you. The main purpose of these links is to get higher ranking with search engines when someone types in a relevant keyword phrase.

These are basically links to your website (any page) pointing to relevant content. There are many strategies to actually obtain these back-links. The usual methods are to write good sales copy, articles and the most popular today, making videos. The most important thing to remember is the information must be relevant to the keywords used in the search. Next you must have back-links pointing to relevant content on your web pages. Then last but certainly not least, it has to be good content. The better it is the more likely your links could go viral, meaning more links and so on.

We cannot express how important good quality content is. Keep in mind, when your content is helpful and is giving people what they want you may very well acquire many quality back-links to your website. Then once you are able to create quality content you need to create a lot of it. Don’t sacrifice quality for quantity however, this is very important. Typically quality content needs to be added to your directories on a daily basis.

When time becomes an issue you simply outsource the content. You manage and review the content before submitting articles, videos and sales copy. Today there are online virtual assistants that with your direction, can actually deliver the amount of quality content you need to be successful online.

All this equates to traffic generation which no successful online business can do without. When it comes to internet market strategies we have a lot more free information on our website. To be successful online one needs to take the time to learn and use internet marketing skills.

When it comes to SEO, or search engine optimisation, there are a lot of different methods and tactics that are used to help boost rankings. Some of these methods are effective and others are not. Some of these tactics are considered white-hat, while others forbidden. The SEO world is full of complicated terms and intricate techniques in order to help sites create organic traffic back to their sites. One of those methods is by using Link wheels. So what are link wheels and how do they work?

Link wheels are combinations of different links that will eventually all link back to your website. The theory behind this is, that if you get enough links back to your site from other high- ranking sites that you will improve your overall popularity with search engines. It will secure you a top spot among the search engines for keywords that are related to your site. When using this SEO method you need to do it carefully so that you do not get ‘marked negatively’ by popular search engines like Google. In order for this method to be effective you need to make sure that it is an ongoing process and not a link- building blitz. It is important to start with a few different sites and work on them every week so that search engines see that you are gradually building up links rather than blasting a ton of links once or twice and then never doing it again.

To be able to set up a link wheel there are few things that you have to do. First of all you will want to find a few article databases where you can submit content with links back to your site. When you find a few different highly ranked article submission sites, you then need to specify some certain keywords that you want to associate with your site. The best way to do this is to use tools like the Google AdWords Keyword tool to be able to find out how often people type in certain keywords every month. Once you have found some good ones then you need to write articles based around these keywords. When the articles have been created you should submit them on these sites with two backlinks (which should contain the highlighted keywords as the links, not the name of your site) that lead back to the website that you are targeting.

Once you have done the above, you will want to also create a Squidoo lens or a Hubpage that is then linked to the article that you have written. If you want to leave the “wheel” open then you need not do anymore. If you would like to close the “wheel ” then you should have your site link back to your Hubpage so that it is a complete circle of links.

If you take away the basic needs of people, that is, food and shelter why do people buy other stuff that is not essential?

Good question. If you can find out why people buy these nonessential products then you can focus on this to sell more to them.

Most people buy on emotions or emotional triggers. People either have a problem they desperately want solved or something they strive to own. They dream about being wealthy, the ultimate holiday, being healthy, comfortable, not having to go to work, having a better figure and so on.

Let’s look at some emotional triggers you can use to get people to buy more of the products and services you recommend.

Make More Money

It does not matter how much money a person has most people always want more. This is why there is always a market for products aimed at people wanting to start their own business, get a higher paying job or invest in property or the stock market. More money equals more success.

Save Money

Most people would like to save money for the future but no matter how hard they try it always seems to elude them. There is always that emergency that seems to deplete any savings they might have. Savings equal security.

Save Time

People want to work less and spend more time doing what they enjoy doing. 24 hours a day does not seem to be enough time for most people as there is never any time left for them to enjoy the pleasures of life. Saving time equals relaxation. Read the rest of this entry
