A Word of Warning about Authors Library

I have received numerous emails in last couple of days offering Authors Library for sale.

However I have tested out this script and found to get it to work was not an easy task for anyone technically challenged.

It has quite a few links to clickbank products that don’t work and thus you need to replace them with other clickbank products.
On the front page is a salespage for a product that you need to buy to sell – sort of like a forced upsell I guess.
You will need to change all the existing click bank affiliate ids to yours – not an easy task to do manually so you will need to find some search and replace software.

I tested out this script a couple of months ago now with the intension of selling it but decided against it as it didn’t allow me to change it and then sell it. I was required to sell it as is and in all honesty I felt that it was not up to scratch to do so.

Now I have changed the front or home page into a page where I have been adding what I call “Hot Downloads”. Changed all the products that are no longer available and fixed all the links that didn’t work. I’ve also added my newsletter sign up form and changed the title on the header. That reminds me most of the SEO also needs changing for each page which I haven’t done myself as yet.

To me this is a typical case of people selling something that they obviously haven’t tried themselves.
