Yep you guessed it all my Squidoo lenses are now in the the Top 500 today but I hear you ask why not the Top 100? Well certain marketers have made Squidoo the flavour of the month and it’s now great to even reach the Top 1000 let alone the Top 100.

Well I’ve had one of those periods in my life where I felt like I killed every cat in the neighbourhood with everything going pear shaped but I managed to remain positive and everything is gradually getting back to normal once again.

Good news I’ve written another lens at www.squidoo.com/garbage for your enjoyment. I’d appreciate a few rankings and votes on my poll but best of all do yourself a favour and sign up and check out our internet marketing review site RatingsHub and save yourself from purchasing all that junk. Note also check out my previous lens at www.squidoo.com/rubbish as I regularly update it.

As an aside I was at my daughter’s school a few days ago and they had issued all the kids logins and passwords. Their biggest problem was getting the kids to remember the passwords and after reading this ebook I was able to help them solve this problem.

Therefore life is wonderful afterall it’s just we get involved in all the “crap” and forget the things that matter the most in our lives.

Tonight I’ve been busy watching You Tube videos about passwords and one that worried me was of a poor frustrated and sad woman who had forgotten her email password. Has this happened to you because it has happenned to me. Like her I didn’t understand the importance of email passwords afterall who wants to read my emails?

After having my email address stolen and used by what seemed like everyone in the world to send spam I now know that security should be taken seriously.

Imagine the result of someone getting into your email box and sending an email from you to your mother with explicit adult content. It’s not something that I even want to think about.

Unfortunately they are a necessary evil with identity and internet banking fraud etc on the increase. The banks in Australia now cover internet banking fraud but are actively lobbing the government to make it the responsibility of the customer. Don’t know about you but I’m rethinking about whether I want to take the risk of internet banking if the banks get their way.

Have you ever read the “fine print” or conditions of using passwords? In some cases if you use a password that has anything unique to you, for example your date of birth, then you are not covered in the event of fraud. Also programs exist which use all the words in a dictionary to crack your password therefore you are at risk if your password is a real word.

OK you create an unique mixture of letters and maybe numbers and symbols that makes no sense to anyone but you. However you are still at risk because how many of these can you remember and thus use? One maybe two. What happens if someone cracks your code?
